Pick up in Nairobi and Depart for Masai Mara with a Stopover at Rift valley view point & Narok. Arrive at the camp/lodge in the evening check in for dinner. Masai Mara game reserve is one of East Africa’s top safari destinations. After dinner you can enjoy bonfire as you listen to some interesting Maasai stories.
This day will be spent game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Our full days’ game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, Topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common. Optional visit to Masai Village and Hot air balloon ride at additional cost.
We depart from our safari lodge/camp at 6. 00a.m after Breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru. Arrive at the Lodge and check in for Lunch. Evening Game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx. 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.
We depart from our safari lodge/camp after breakfast and proceed to Nairobi where our safari ends.
