This safari tour will take you to the largest game reserve and 2nd largest conservation area in Africa sized at 5,000 square kilometers. This reserve is one of the most remote ones in Tanzania, hence least visited parks in Africa. Because of its elaborate and unique beauty, the Selous has so many safari animals and thus has it in history that UNESCO declared it a world heritage in 1982

Tour Plan
Flying from Zanzibar to Selous, flight departs Zanzibar 7:30 or 8:05 and arrives Selous 8:55 or 09:40 depend with the number of airstrips, pick up by our driver guide at Airstrip then proceed to the lodge for check in. and then 10:00 Depart for boat safari along the great Rufiji River for 2 hours where you can see hippopotamus, crocodiles and different birds. Return to the camp for lunc ith & relaxation for one or two hours, 16:00 you can depart for evening game drive for 2 hours exploring Selous Game Reserve. The evening will be spent at your own leisure Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp. (Nyerere Tented Camp / Africa Safari Camp)..
On this day you will spend a full day in the vast Game Reserve doing game drives in search of animals like elephants, zebras, gazelles, impalas and the rarest of all; the African Wild dogs. This Game Reserve was named after a prominent European explorer; the late Fredrick Selous and the reserve has since been declared a world heritage site by the UN body UNESCO. Overnight at SelousAfrica Safari Camp).
After early breakfast walking safari with armed ranger from 6:00 to 8:30 and back to hotel for breakfast, around 10:00 you will depart for village tour for 2 hours. Back to hotel for lunch and relaxation waiting for flight, and flight will depart selous 16:15 and arrive in Zanzibar 17:30.
